Here is a specs comparison between recently announced Motorola Atrix 4G and Motorola Droid Bionic with iPhone 4 and Samsung Nexus S. Here is a Droid X theme which will completely change you iPhone UI to the one like Droid X. Most of the things in this theme look absolutely like the one in Droid X theme such as lock screen, icons etc. Unlike many other Android themes for iPhone, things have been managed pretty well in this particular theme.

Engadget has received images of the long rumored Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone and the images seem to be real. The device is said to be sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, front and back camera, and the screen is in the range of 3.7 to 4.1 inches. It has slider gaming keypad as well just like the PSP Go. The device on release is going to be Android Gingerbread 3.0 powered. The phone is also said to have a dedicated market place that would offer compatible games for this device.

Here is a video featuring Apple Peel 520 for iPod touch in action. For those of you who don’t know what it is, Apple Peel 520 is a case for iPod touch’s that converts the iPod touch into an iPhone and allows you to call and send SMS using your iPod touch. It supports iPod 1G, 2G and 3G, you can simply insert your Sim into the case and use your music player as a phone. This accessory fixes onto the iPod touch and comes with a dock connector, built-in 800mAh battery (rated for 4.5 hours of talk time and five days on standby) and SIM card slot.

It works only on a jailbroken iPod touch and requires the Yosion and YsSMS apps to be installed for calling and messaging. And as for now it does not support the latest model of iPod touch i.e iPod touch 4.

Remember Apple Peel 520? That thing that converts your iPod Touch into an iPhone, yeah that piece of hardware is going to be on sale this month. The date for its release in China is said to be 20th September. The Apple Peel will be available in three colours Red, Black, and White and will be priced at about $57. In US Apple Peel 520 will be officially distributed by a company named Go Solar USA. We can’t tell that whether this thing is going to support iPod Touch 4G or not, only time will tell.(Via)

A forum member at MyDroidWorld has posted some images running Android 2.2 Froyo on his Droid X. He claims that the update should arrive for everyone within 24 hours. No one has, other then him has confirmed this update and we have heard no word from Verizon so don’t get your expectations too high. If you want to check whether your phone has been updated then check (Menu > Settings > About Phone FYI) and if you get any good news then give us a tip because that would be a treat for us!

LG has just officially announced its upcoming Android phone that is LG LU2300. LG has also confirmed that the phone has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Android 2.1 which is a great news for Android fans, along with this the phone features  a 3.5-inch AMOLED capacitive display, a 5-megapixel camera, built-in WiFi, DivX support and a DMB TV tuner. LG LU2300 will be available in Korea sometime this month or next but we don’t have any information about its price or any exact release date.

Apple has just released iPhone 3.1.3, Its an OS update that will update your iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPhone 2G, iPod touch G1, iPod touch G2, and iPod touch 3G. You can update your device by connecting your it to iTunes as then it would ask you to update your current software. As seen, not many changes have been made to the OS itself but some fixes have been made and detected bugs have been removed.

Some updates that have been made in this release are:

• Improves accuracy of reported battery level on iPhone 3GS
• Resolves issue where third party apps would launch some instances
• Fixes bug that may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana Keyboard

Note: Users having jailbroken or unlocked iPhone should avoid the update otherwise they may lose the capability of jailbreaking or unlocking, wait for the new jailbreaking and unlocking tools before updating your device otherwise you will have to face the consequences.
