Here is a video made by TiPB in which they have demonstrated the working of iOS 4.2 on iPhone 3G. There have been a lot of issues regarding iOS 4.1′s performance on iPhone 3G so it was crucial for Apple this time to do something to improve the performance of the latest version of iOS on older device. According to TiPB and as we can see in the video above, performance of iOS 4.2 is far better on iPhone 3G than the iOS 4.1 and it is fairly usable.

Good news for those who like to Jailbreak their Apple iPad as @iH8sn0w has posted a screenshot of iPad running jailbroken iOS 4.2 beta, that means that hackers have already jailbroken the of iOS 4.2 and the jailbreaking utilities will be released as soon as iOS 4.2 becomes available in November. As you can see in the image of iPad above, it’s running MobileTerminal, the jailbreak app that gives you access to the command line as an evidence.

Apple has posted a page on its official website that reminds the iPad users about the upcoming update that will bring some new features for the iPad. The iOS 4.2 update will be given in November for free to the iPad users, iOS 4.2 will bring multitasking, home screen folders, wireless document printing, AirPlay (streaming audio/video), Game Center, a unified inbox, text search in the Safari web browser, as well as a handful of other modifications.
