According to DownloadSquad, HTC and Google are planning to launch a Chrome OS tablet on Verizon Wireless and for this they have already set the Official date for the launch, that is said to be November 26th, which is Black Friday 2010 and the busiest shopping day of the year in the U.S. The tag price of the device will be around $199. The specs of the tablet seems to be very good.
The detailed specs of HTC myTouch HD have been leaked. Initial reports are suggesting that myTouch HD is the phone known as the HTC Emerald from the leaked roadmap. The details that have emerged are that HTC’s myTouch HD will feature a touch only design, will have a display between 3.7-4.3 inches, and be the first T-Mobile phone with a front facing camera. No more details are there to write about so for more on this phone we just have to wait patiently.

HTC Desire HD now back and this time it has more to offer. This Android phone appeared in the wild some days ago when a photo of it was leaked. Now we have this phone in motion as a video of it has been posted by 247Android. The phone’s shake is very much like the Evo 4G and is considered (as the name suggests) an upgraded version of HTC Desire. Reportedly the specs of this Phone are a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen, Android 2.2 (Froyo), an 8MP camera, 1Ghz processor, 720p video recording, 4GB of storage built in, and aluminum case, e-book reader, and all the other bells and whistles.

Here is a another leak of a phone is that is undoubtedly a Windows Phone 7 device. The phone is said to have been built using a single piece of aluminum and has plastic cutouts in the back for wireless connectivity. Nothing much is known about the phone at the moment, but as we can see in the video below it not only has it a camera at its back but that is supported by a flash.

A good news for HTC G1, Magic owners as developers somehow have managed to port Android 2.2 Froyo onto these phones. The working is not upto the mark yet as wifi, camera, gps, external audio are not working but the hackers are working on it and we might hear some good news from the forums soon. The things that are working are calls, 3G, LEDs, call audio. The main thing thats a bit surprising is that these phones were released in 2008 and now they are running 2010 version of Android and thats amazing.

HTC on Twitter has confirmed that HTC Legend would be hitting Australia soon. Vodafone users can have them from June 3rd and the official date for 3 Mobile users will be announced soon.

A XDA-Developers forum member zenulator has managed to port the Nexus One FRF50 update to the CDMA HTC Hero. He has posted the update for testing and feedback on the forum. The Froyo is not working properly as there are problems with Audio/Mic, GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth, Maps force closes, and the Flash Player 10.1. from the Market will crash the browser. But there is still hope for the Hero users as Data, Calls (can’t speak to the other person), New Launcher2, 2.2 Google Apps (only few have been tested) ,Keypad/Trackball leds are somewhat working.
