On September 15, 2010, in News, by Zaib

Well we all know that these big companies love attention and media coverage for their products and they will go to every extent to do so, no its not Microsoft this time that has done something silly, its cell phone giant Nokia that has made a publicity stunt at HTC’s event that is going to take place in London today. This is not what anyone would have expected from a company like Microsoft. Last week Microsoft held an event that i would call disgraceful and full of arrogance, they on celebration of Windows Phone 7 getting in RTM mode held the funeral of Apple’s iPhone and RIM’s Blackberry. There was an awful thriller dance as well. We have not heard any official statement or any reaction from the companies targeted (Apple and RIM) but this event has certainly disappointed Microsoft fans who would have never expected this from the Redmond based company. Check out the video after the break

Steve Jobs in the official iPod event yesterday said that iPod Touch is the iPhone without calls and he meant it because when he announced the new features of iPod Touch it became very clear that the only difference between the iPod Touch 4G and the iPhone 4 is that iPod Touch cannot make calls, other than that iPod Touch has all the features that are sported by iPhone 4 such as Facetime, Retina display, camera, gaming and everything else. Below is a table that i have made to compare the features of both Apple devices.

All those cases and rumors that we were hearing about in the few last days were legitimate as now its official that Apple Nano has become smaller, thinner and shuffle like but the difference is it now sports a multitouch user interface, is 46% smaller than before and 42% lighter. It now has a clip like the shuffle so that it is easy to carry and external volume buttons as well. The thing i do not like about it personally is that there is no video playing on this small beast and that would make many of you sad as well. overall its a nice gadget with iPhone like user interface and a premium audio music player that will store your photos on it as well.
