Engadget has claimed that Sony Ericsson is working on a Android 3.0 gaming platform and PSP Go-like smartphone, they not only have confirmed the companies plans of producing such a device but they have also confirmed that the company is “actively and heavily” developing a new gaming platform, ecosystem, and device in cooperation with Google.
They have described the device to be somewhere in between the Samsung Captivate and the PSP Go, as seen in the mock up above. The device is said to have a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 5 Megapixel camera, the display is said to be between 3.7 and 4.1 inches with WVGA or better resolution and more importantly it is going to be powered with Android 3.0 GingerBread.
The phone is said to be introduced in October of this year, obviously not confirmed.
