Skype has released its app for Android phones. The app is intended to support a wide range of phones and provide Skype experience to Android users. With the new app, you can make free Skype-to-Skype calls, and send and receive IMs, one-to-one or with a group. You can also call phones at “Skype’s great rates” over WiFi or 3G (outside US). By the way 3G feature is only available to users outside US, and for those in US only Wi-fi feature is available.
You will need an Android phone running Android 2.1 version or above to be able to run this app, Download it from Android market or visit skype.com/m from your device.
