WWDC 2011 is getting closer, and speculations are popping up from everywhere. Now TechCrunch reports that Apple is going to completely revamp its widely criticized notification system and is going to introduce widgets in its mobile operating system in iOS 5. TechCrunch also notes that the rumors of “iPhone 5″ or “4S” based on Apple’s iPhone PR team inviting European journalists are false and iPhone PR team is doing this because they want journalists to attend the event (who might skip the event due to no new iPhone this year).
In no way is that an obvious conclusion. I’m not disputing the fact that Apple’s iPhone PR team wants people at this event. But guess what else that PR team is in charge of? iOS.
TechCrunch reports that Apple won’t implement Nuance’s technology into iOS’s Voice Control in iOS 5 but might implement that in other areas of the operating system in the coming update.
