Google has finally released the Blogger app for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The app is now available in the App Store for download. This new application by Google will allow iOS users to write, draft, and publish new blog posts right on their iOS devices. It also allows users to edit drafted or published articles created on Blogger.com on the go.

You can add photos to the app from your iDevice’s gallery or take a fresh one and upload it directly to your Blogger account using the application.

A new messenger for iOS devices called PingMe is now available in the App Store. Available on most of the popular mobile platforms of today, PingMe allows users to chat with their friends with PingMe installed on their devices regardless of their device’s platform. With PingMe messenger you can group chat with your friends and people in your circles.

PingMe chat service is totally free of charge and does not require you to enter any username or password. Instead you just have to give your phone number while signing up and that becomes your PingMe ID.

• Tap on the “Settings” icon and navigate and tap on “Wi-Fi Networks”
• Find the network name of the router you are currently connected to, and tap on the blue arrow button next to the active networks name
• Assuming you are usually a DHCP address, scroll down and find the IP Address in the format of x.x.x.x, for example 192.168.1.2

One of the many things missing from iOS today is the ability to change themes. However if you are jailbroken, you can try and apply hundreds of awesome themes available in the Cydia Store for your downloading pleasure. One of my favorite themes available in Cydia is called ‘Galaxy S II theme’. This theme is based on Samsung’s Galaxy S II’s Android user-interface and looks pretty solid even on an iOS device (you know Samsung’s Galaxy Line up and Apple iDevices are pretty similar after all).

Available in Cydia Store for $2, Galaxy S II visually transforms your jailbroken iOS device’s homescreen into an Android device’s homescreen. You can customize the placement of icons, have widgets on your home screen and do whatever you want. This theme also features its own custom wallpapers that you can easily apply using the built-in wallpaper settings page.

Galaxy S II theme for iOS devices is available in Cydia Store for $2 under MacCiti repo. It can also be downloaded from the DreamBoard theme store for iOS.

PocketNow has posted a photo that is according to them was taken by an iPhone 5. According to PocketNow this photo that is claimed to be taken by an iPhone 4′s camera and has resolution of 2235×2291 (or 5.12 megapixel) was originally taken by an iPhone 5 and originally featured 3264×2448 resolution (or 8 megapixel) before it was cropped to 2235×2291 by the person who uploaded it on Flickr.

This (very attractive) photo claims to have been taken by an iPhone 4, but the rest of its EXIF data tells a different story: although the image has been cropped to 2235×2291 (5.12 megapixels), the original picture was a much larger 3264×2448 — or just shy of eight megapixels. What’s more, the lens was recorded as a 4.3mm f/2.4, which is closer to that of a point-and-shoot than the iPhone 4′s actual 3.85mm f/2.8. (Remember that the upcoming HTC Runnymede is said to have an aperture of f/2.2.)

As noted by MacRumors and much to our surprise the person who uploaded this photo on Flickr is Anton D’Auria, who is an Apple Software Engineer working on Safari and WebKit for iOS.

9To5Mac points out that according to this image’s EXIF Data this image was taken at One Infinite Loop (that happens to be the location of Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino).

Apple is expected to release iPhone 5 in October that is going to feature a Dual Core processor, more RAM, an eight-megapixel camera, and much more.

Like many other features absent from Mobile Safari browser in iOS, adjusting font size on websites is not found in Safari by default yet. But to bring this functionality to your Safari browser a jailbreak tweak developer has created Magnifier for Safari tweak. This tweak does what ‘Command key’ + ‘+ key’ does on your Mac.

With Magnifier for Safari tweak you can simply adjust the font size on any webpage opened in Safari browser of a Jailbroken iDevice. You just have to tap on the ‘Add Bookmark’ button and from the several buttons that appear on your screen, you have to tap on the ‘Adjust FontSize’ button.

After tapping on ‘Adjust FontSize’ button you can easily change the size of the font by sliding the slider from the bottom of your screen from left to right and vice versa.

One thing you should keep in mind before buying this tweak is that it mostly works on mobile websites or the sites that do not have a fixed layout. It acts like pinch-to-zoom feature on sites that have a fixed layout.

After a long time Facebook for iPhone and iPod touch has finally received a major update in the version 3.5. This update brings several new features and bug fixes to the native Facebook application. Most important of all new features is that Facebook app now allows users to tag friends and places in your posts. You can also share external links from the web view of the app and a new design for profile and group walls has been added to the app too.

Facebook has also improved the sharing tool that now adds privacy controls for your posts. Once you make changes to your settings, those changes are automatically updated on Facebook’s website too, and vice versa.

So if you want to keep on using the iPad version of Facebook app, stay away from this update. Facebook is expected to release the iPad version of Facebook very soon.
