Official Bing app for Android is here

Bing’s official app for Android phones is here and its awesome. The app is very much like the Bing app for the iPhone, with an image of the day marking the backdrop, and a pop-up menu to search by images, movies, maps, news, or what’s nearby. There’s also an option for directions. A search field sits at the top, next to a voice search button. Bing for Android hides your history, settings, and favorites in the phone’s hard-coded Menu button.

Bing for Android is free from the Android Market for Verizon phones, including the HTC Droid Incredible, Motorola Droid, Droid 2, and Droid X, Motorola Devour, and the LG Ally.
