Apple has been fighting a flash war from months now arguing that there are better technologies that should be used instead of flash and the recent tablet from Apple i.e the iPad also shows no mercy for flash following iPhone and iPod touch. But the news we have got can change the scenario a bit as big companies like NBC and Time Warner have said that they are not going to turn there back over flash as its not in there interests.
Sources said several large media companies, including Time Warner and NBC Universal, told Apple they won’t retool their extensive video libraries to accommodate the iPad, arguing that such a reformatting would be expensive and not worth it because Flash dominates the Web.
I don’t know that this is a right decision taken by these companies because who knows we are moving towards a revolution of new web technology and these companies would be left behind due to there decision at least they have taken for now. iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch are the products that are well running all over and have a huge share of total mobile internet users.
