I am not a big fan of iOS notification system and i have been waiting for Apple to replace it with some decent system with good UI. We have seen a lot of third party concepts of how iOS’s notification system should work like and here’s one more. MobileNotifier that has been developed by Peter Hajas is more than just a concept, it is available in the Cydia store for free and works perfectly on my iOS device. What it does is it shows the message on the lockscreen and springboard that you can open or tap on later to read it later.
MobileNotifier also adds that notification message to the multitasking screen that appears when you double tap the home button in iOS 4. It makes reading and sorting messages easier.
Here’s how to try this on your jailbroken iOS device.
1. Open Cydia on your jailbroken device.
2. Tap on ‘Manage’ and after that on ‘Sources’.
3. Tap on ‘Edit’ button and then on ‘Add’ button. Add this source in Cydia http://phajas.xen.prgmr.com/
4. Now Go to Manage and click on sources.
5. Now go ‘Peterhajas repo’ and install ‘MobileNotifer’.
