According to TechCrunch Microsoft is putting Billions of Dollars into its mobile OS venture Windows Phone 7 project. Microsoft’s mobile OS has to compete with the big players from the day one such as the likes of Android and iOS so it has to be at par or even better, and the company understands it. Microsoft is investing big time to its Windows Phone 7 project.
That number is particularly huge when compared to the $100 million which Jonathan Goldberg, a telecommunications analyst at Deutsche Bank, estimates”that Verizon, Motorola and Google collectively spent on marketing helped turn the Droid line of phones into a serious stable of competitors against the iPhone.”
