WSJ’s AllThingsD reports by quoting a source with knowledge of the situation that Apple might launch iPhone 5 in October instead of September. Their source says that the reports of AT&T preventing its employee’s to take vacations during the last two weeks of September due to iPhone 5 launch are misinformed.

“October,” the source said, while declining to offer a hard launch date. Other sources said it will be later in the month rather than earlier.

The source couldn’t give any solid launch date for the release but insisted that the launch will happen in October. Another source said that the launch will happen in the end of October not at the beginning of it.
