iPhone hacker @comex has just confirmed that despite the new update, iOS is still vulnerable to jailbreak and Apple still has not fixed @i0n1c’s exploit in iOS 4.3.3 update. So if this is true, then we should expect the Dev Team to release an updated version of their RedSn0w tool to untethered jailbreak iOS 4.3.3.

In case you don’t know, iPhone Dev team has been using the exploit @i0n1c found in the previous versions of iOS and Apple has not fixed that exploit since, so iOS hackers are continuously using the same exploit for jailbreaks and have been preserving other ones for future uses.

Now the only question that remains is that when iPhone Dev Team will release the updated version of RedSn0w to jailbreak our devices. Keep visiting us to stay updated with the whole jailbreak scenario.

This update contains changes to the iOS crowd-sourced location database cache including:

  • Reduces the size of the cache.
  • No longer backs the cache up to iTunes.
  • Deletes the cache entirely when Location Services is turned off.
