Miss Fiona Martin, who is a Apple spokesman in Australia has said that the proximity sensor problem of the iPhone 4 won’t be fixed in the iOS 4.1 update that is expected to come at the event on this Wednesday. Apple had previously promised to patch the proximity problem, which affects some iPhone 4s. What happens is that when a caller holds the phone to their ear, the sensor can get its job wrong and either cuts off the call or leaves the buttons vulnerable to being accidentally pressed by a user’s ear.
We hope to see the fix soon, may we hear the good news or a bad one on Wednesday only God knows.
