Apple has announced iOS 5 and my God it has turned out to be insanely great! The new notification system of iOS is the best thing i have ever seen.The annoying popups will now be replaced by a new app called notification center. The app not only shows your messages but also shows live information about the weather and other apps.
You can also view pending notifications on the lockscreen of your device, so you do not need to unlock your device. Sliding to unlock will take you directly to the notification’s app.
