Creative Zen is a portable music player that plays audio files as well as videos and has picture storage capability as well. It is a good and small music player that is manufactured by Creative technologies. Zen MX that was released in 2009 has a width of 3.26 inches, a height of 2.16 inches and is 0.44 inches thick – making it the slimmest ZEN player and the second slimmest Creative player. The Player also has a memory card slot that makes it able to read Micro SD cards.
Zen MX features some new notable differences from older models the ZEN MX does not support .AVI, .MPG, or .AAC files natively. So you need to convert your videos to MP4 or 3GP in order to run them.
Zen MX like all other music players offer EQ feature you can listen to your music as Pop, Jazz, Rock, Disco, Vocal, New Age, Classical, Acoustic & 5-band custom setting. File transfer is easy as coping data to your data traveller USB so you do not need any specific software such as iTunes for iPod but you can sync your player as well using Window Media player or any other of your choice.
Zen MX has a screen resolution of 320 × 240 pixels (QVGA). Its battery life is enormous as far as audio is concerned as it gives playback of 30 hours continuous but video is not that impressive ie 5 hours but that’s enough for many. It weighs only 65 g / 2.3 oz. It also has a battery that can be removed and changes easily.

The Zen MX is a light weight device. It is very light in weight. It is very easy to operate. The video quality is really very nice. Design-wise, it looks quite similar to the older zen. Memory used is expandable. The one negative point is the small screen. Users cannot easily watch a movie. Features are very satisfying.
