Google has just updated its Google+ app for iOS. Besides usual performance and stability improvements the update brings support for iPod touch and iPad. Unfortunately the app isn’t fully optimized for iPad, Google has just doubled the pixels of iPhone application to fit the iPad screen. The update also adds Huddle settings and fixes the annoying notifications.

9to5mac has got a couple of  iOS 5′s screenshots showing the integration of upcoming Nuance powered speech-to-text feature. Currently this feature is being tested at Apple campus only and can make its way to public with the release of iOS 5 in fall this year. In the above screenshot you can see a mic button left to the space key. After tapping the mic button a mic overlay covers the screen and remains there until you are talking. Once you’ve stopped talking, the text will appear in the text field.

EasyFindOnPage is a Cydia tweak that adds an easy and fast ‘find on page’ option to Mobile Safari. Although you can do this by default but the method is quite complicated. You need to tap the search bar at top right and enter a search string in order to search the current web page.

But no painful method anymore, as EasyFindOnPage does this work in a much better way. After installing this tweak a magnifying glass button is added to Safari’s toolbar from where you can quickly find any word on the current web page.

Apple has just dropped the iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and at the same time iOS 4.2.8 has been released to Verizon iPhone 4 owners. As we reported before iOS 4.3.3 is said to fix the location tracking bug in iOS 4 alongwith many other minor issues. After updating to iOS 4.3.3, “consolidated.db” the hidden file in iOS 4 will no longer save your location history. Just connect your iOS device to iTunes and get updated to the latest version of iOS 4.

BGR is claiming that their sources at Apple have confirmed that the company is going to release the iOS 4.3.3 within “two weeks” or “possibly sooner”. As we reported earlier iOS 4.3.3 will fix the location tracking bug which was recently uncovered by researchers from UK. Finally Apple has made it official. The long awaited white iPhone 4 will be officially available tomorrow on Thursday, April 28th, the same date we reported about a week ago. Initially it will be launched in 28 countries while rest of the world will get the phone soon. White iPhone 4 will be available at all Apple’s retail stores, AT&T and Verizon Wireless stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers.

“The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right.”

The retail prices are same as the black iPhone 4. You will be able to get the white iPhone 4 16GB for $199 while 32GB model will be available for $299 with a 2-year contract.
