BGR has posted some exclusive images of an iPhone prototype running on T-Mobile 3G bands. The prototype looks just like the current iPhone 4 in white color and runs iOS 4. Similar device was leaked in Vietnam a few days ago but this one is different and special, because it is made for T-Mobile(a carrier that does not carry iPhone at the moment). The device as it seems from the images is a prototype instead of a production unit, that indicates that Apple is testing its iPhone for another major US network.
The codename of the device is N94, whereas the GSM variant had N90 codename and CDMA variant was codenamed N92. BGR notes that it would not make any sense if Apple release the T-Mobile version of their phone on its old hardware, and says that it is very likely that Apple is just testing the T-Mobile friendly radios on its device so that they can be integrated on its next generation device.
9To5Mac has posted an interesting article revealing that it is possible that this prototype leaked by BGR can be sporting an A5 chip in it.
The ‘N94′ prototype build (above) is the exact iPhone build that we found carries an A5 or ‘S5L8940′ processor a few months ago.

Interesting how news about the iPhone 5 is popping up everywhere now. I think Apple loves this type of "leaked" information as it becomes free advertising and builds hype for an already exciting product!
