According to Macnn, Apple is working with ‘Teach for America’ to encourage iPad 2 buyers to donate their older iPad to teachers working in-low income communities. The iPads will be collected by Apple’s retail stores all over the country. Customers can bring their iPads to their nearest Apple stores and submit them there so that they can be sent to ‘Teach for America’.
Your old iPad can help teach kids a thing or two. Donate your old iPad at an Apple Retail Store, and Teach For America will give it to a teacher in a low-income community.
