Apple Microsoft war is open in every arena whether it is Operating System, Web browsers, Mp3 players, Mobiles etc and now they have taken their war into a new dimension this time its the franchises that Microsoft plans to open against Apple’s Stores. There have been reports of Microsoft opening these stores near or even if possible adjacent to the already running Apple Stores and there have been reports of Microsoft taking away Apple’s employees who are working in their stores with considerable raises in salaries.

Apple had to do something to keep its upper hand and it is now as reported by Appleinsider is making renovations in its stores this is what Appleinsider wrote

“In what could be viewed as a preemptive strike, Apple has closed its store in Mission Viejo, Calif., for renovations — the same store that will be located near one of Microsoft’s first retail outlets”.

The store is closed for renovations since 14 sept and what is written outside fully covered store is “Coming soon. The all-new Apple Store.”

Microsoft will also be having Guru bars in its stores just like the Apple’s Genius bars.

The new retail locations will sell Microsoft software and first-party hardware, such as Zunes and Xbox 360 consoles. Third-party Windows software and Xbox games will also be available. The company also plans to open a store in Scottsdale, Ariz., before the year is out, though there is no Apple Store near that location.
