Apple no longer a computer company yes i said what you read that it would not be just calling Apple inc a computer company or i should say a a just a computer company because it when released its earning record it is clear from it that most of its earing was from its mobile and music players. And sales from its Computer system named Mac was disgustingly low as compared to iPhone and iPods. According to a report Apple sold 17 million units this year and out of them just 2.6 million were Macs.
So what is it? Its the phone and the music players that are earning more from the company. Apple started itself with a Mac then it released its iPod that was and still is a huge success then iPhone that is considered the best single product company has made and what to be considered is thats a mobile phone not a computer system.
Apple is now making multi products and i do not say that its Mac is over or the company is going to quit that no but what i am saying is that today Apple’s non computer products are more popular all over the world although every one would love to have a Mac Mini for himself but he would already own an iPod
So Apple instead of calling itself a computer company now rename itself as Apple Systems. Yeah system include every thing it makes whether its iPhone, iPod or a Mac as we can expect that In September there will be more iPods, again not a computer, and then at some point, no doubt in January, I suspect an announcement of a new product that will take the now almost defunct MacBook brand (only one model remaining).
Apple itself i think has become bored of its Mac and is always working on some products of totally defferebt kind. It seems when the dropped the Computers bit from their name in January 2007 Apple weren’t kidding.
I wonder how long it takes before you won’t be able to buy a computer from them at all?
