Apple’s App Store servers are down at the moment for everyone. No one is able to download anything from App Store for their iPhones, iPod touch’s and iPads. The servers are appearing to be down for everyone, no matter which part of the earth they belong to. Although the App Store app works fine and allows you to select your download, but the download itself does not start and stucks on “Waiting…” position, similar thing happens when downloading apps on computers via iTunes.

Can’t restore iPhone in Canada right now. Also couldn’t check the Support Coverage (selfsolve) database. It says it is “Down for maintenance.” Earlier it just hung.
