An iPhone App ported to Zune HD in 12 hours!

by Zaib on September 20, 2009

It has passed just days to the release of Zune HD and an iPhone App has been converted and working on it! WordMonger is a new, highly addictive word game guys at Foundation24 are working on and they are developing it for the iPhone and ZuneHD.

WordMonger is written in C# using OpenGL and it runs on both the iPhone with MonoTouch and on Zune HD with .NET. Zune HD version is built using XNA Game Studio 3.1 which supports Zune HD extensions and Visual Studio 2008.

The game for iPhone is still to due to be released and is expected coming on thanksgiving day and no word on release for Zune HD as Microsoft is not receiving any third party apps for Zune HD in its Marketplace atleast for now.

This might be a beginning of a new series that could be running and will result in the conversion of thousands of iPhone apps into Zune HD and a good sign for Microsoft as well:) .
