According to a report by Investor Village’s AAPL Sanity board iPad sales have been full time high during its launching week. Member Deagol has graphed the buying patterns over the weekend. The numbers were calculated using Apple’s normal online sales numbers and extrapolating the extra sales as iPad sales.
So if we see this report then we can figure out that over 160,000 iPads have been preordered during the first week.
If we compare current Apple sales with the normal Apple sales then we can figure out iPad sales by looking at the average sales of Apple products during past months.
According to the pie below by Fortune that is result of a poll 69% people who would buy iPad are interested in buying WiFi only models whereas only 31% revealed that they are planning to buy a Wifi with 3G model. The results of other poll suggested that almost same amount of people would buy the three models of the iPad that are 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
